How to Use This Template

01

Pick the template in the app

  • Open the Struklio app → Create Your Project → select Restaurant & Menu.
  • The full project with all screens loads instantly.
02

Build your menu

This is the most important step - it is what your customers will interact with most.

  • Categories - Rename the demo categories to match yours (e.g., "Starters", "Burgers", "Drinks", "Desserts")
  • Items - For each menu item: set the name, description, price, and upload a photo
  • Highlighted items - Mark your best sellers or specials as featured so they appear on the home screen
Tip: Good food photos make a huge difference. Use natural lighting and shoot from slightly above.
03

Replace business details

  • Restaurant name and logo - update in the header, onboarding, and about screen
  • Address and map - set your location so customers know where to pick up
  • Opening hours - set your real operating schedule
  • About and FAQ - tell your story and answer common questions (parking, allergies, etc.)
04

Adjust styling to your brand

  • Change primary color to match your restaurant branding
  • Swap fonts if you want a different feel
  • Adjust card styles, spacing, and corner radius
  • Review everything live on your phone
05

Test the ordering flow end-to-end

Walk through the app exactly as a customer would:

  • Open the app and see onboarding
  • Create a test account
  • Browse the menu categories
  • Tap a menu item, read the detail, add to cart
  • Open the cart, adjust quantities
  • Choose a pickup time
  • Confirm the order and check it appears in order list
  • Open chat and send a message

Fix anything that feels wrong before publishing.

Publish

What to Consider Before Publishing

Apple App Store Requirements

Complete content

Every menu item needs a real name, description, and price. Apple will reject apps with placeholder content or empty screens.

Screenshots

Capture 6.7" and 5.5" screenshots showing the menu, item detail, and cart. These are the first thing customers see on the store.

Privacy policy

Required. Your app collects email, name, and order data, so disclose it clearly.

Review login

Provide a test account in the review notes so Apple can navigate the full ordering flow.

Food ordering disclaimer

If your app handles real payments, make sure you comply with local food business regulations. If it is order-and-pay-at-pickup, clearly state this in the app description.

Google Play Store

Coming soon

For launch, publishing support is App Store only. Google Play guidance will be added soon.

General Publishing Tips

Menu is your store front

Spend extra time on photo quality and descriptions. This is what converts browsers into customers.

Keep prices current

Nothing frustrates customers more than outdated prices. Plan to update your menu in the app whenever prices change.

Set realistic pickup times

If you offer 15-minute pickup windows, make sure your kitchen can handle it. Start with wider windows and tighten as you learn your flow.

Push notifications

Use them for order confirmations and "your order is ready" alerts. Configure notification keys during the build step.

Developer account

For launch you only need an Apple Developer account ($99/year). Google Play support is coming soon.

Test with real customers

Before full launch, share the TestFlight link (iOS) with a few regulars and get feedback.

App name

Use your restaurant name. Do not stuff keywords and keep your listing clear.

Update regularly

Seasonal menus, holiday specials, or new items keep customers opening your app.

04

Customize Further

This template covers the full restaurant use case, but you can extend it:

Remove screens you do not need (e.g., chat if you prefer phone orders).
