Your events live in a collection, and every screen is built from Struklio building blocks you can also use on their own:
How to Use This Template
Pick the template in the app
- Open the Struklio app → tap Create Your Project → select Events & Community.
- Your app is created with an Events collection and three sample events already in it, so nothing starts empty.
Add your own events
Open Manage collections → Events, or the Manage Events screen, and replace the samples:
- Name and photo - what the event is and what it looks like
- When - date and time; the list sorts by it and hides events once they are over
- Where - the place people tap to open in Maps
- Price - shown in the currency set in App Settings, or Free
- Spots - joining closes automatically when the event is full
Make it your community
- Change the welcome banner, heading, and colors to match your club or group
- Add fields to the Events collection, or create new collections for classes, courses, or your team
- Tap Show in app on any collection to add a ready list and detail screen for it
Test the full flow
Walk through the app as a member would:
- Browse upcoming events and open one
- Tap the place to check it opens in Maps
- Join an event with a name and email
- Check the Manage Events screen to see who is coming
- Post an announcement and open it from the feed
If anything feels off, go back and adjust. You can Review unlimited times on Free plan.
Publish when ready
When you are happy with the result, move to the Going to Production guide.
What to Consider Before Publishing
Apple App Store Requirements
Apple requires your app to provide something useful beyond a simple website. Events people can join, sign-ups with limited spots, and announcements help show that.
You need 6.7" and 5.5" screenshots. Take these directly from the Struklio Review on your device.
Required. Sign-ups collect names and emails, so say what you collect and why. Add your privacy policy URL during submission.
Apple reviews every app. Replace the sample events with real ones and make sure nothing shows placeholder text, broken images, or empty screens.
If your app requires sign-in, provide a demo account in the review notes so Apple's review team can test the full app.
Google Play Store
For launch, publishing support is App Store only. Google Play guidance will be added soon.
General Publishing Tips
For launch, validate flows on iPhone devices and submit once everything is stable. Android support is coming soon.
Past events leave the list on their own, so add the next ones before you submit and keep the calendar filled after launch.
Use your club or community name. Avoid keyword stuffing and keep your listing clear and honest.
For launch you only need an Apple Developer account ($99/year). Google Play support is coming soon.
Events and announcements update in the app as you add them. Design changes reach members when you re-publish.
Customize Further
This template is your starting point, not your limit. You can add more screens, remove what you don't need, or rearrange navigation.
Remove screens you do not need (e.g., announcements if you post updates elsewhere). Rearrange navigation tabs and menu items to match how your community works.
